“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” Gen. 2:24

There’s no doubt God created the first woman “out of the man” for a reason. He was forming a helper for him. In creating her out of man, God is telling us that man and wife were made to be together. For they “will become one flesh”.

Respond

This is a good reminder of what God intended; so commit fully to your wife in marriage. She is a helper from the Lord, a life long companion and friend.

Be determined to love your wife and serve her!
