As a Faithful Citizen……….

Matt. 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.”

Hosea 14:9 “…the ways of the Lord are right, and the righteous will walk in them.”

Living in a country of excess, we have lost our dependence on God. As a nation prospers, it forgets the Lord, the Creator of life.

We see it happening in our country today. We did once look to God and His Word. Our country did once strive to build its foundation on God and seek to live by His ways. Look at the message inscribed on our money, “In God We Trust.”

We now embrace freedom so much, people are drowning in a sea of opinions and accept any idea as truth. We have lost our way.

Respond

If we are to continue to receive God’s blessing as a nation, (Ps. 33:12) we must renew our efforts to seek the Lord God. Let us seek first His kingdom, and encourage others to do the same!
